The gold standard for cheap wine, and the wine which, as a youth, really opened my eyes and palate. If a wine costs more than $7.50 it must be tastier than Bogle Merlot to justify the expense; conversely, if it costs less than $7.50 it needs to be tastier than Bogle Merlot to justify not paying a couple of dollars more.
