Dec 31st, 2023Deep purple in color; chocolate, cherries, and black pepper on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like plums, blueberries, and graphite with a medium finish. It was a little harsh at first, but it opened up after some time in the glass. It's too oaky for Nellie. She doesn't like it. I think it's ok, but the tannins and oak flavors are a little too harsh.
