Ruby-plum color, light cherry aroma, with plum and black cherry flavors. Really good!

Gets better with some air. Otherwise it's just ok, but considering it was $10 at CVS, I can't complain. It's very fruity and sweet. We had it with pizza, and it was perfect. One of my favorite meals is cheap pizza a cheap wine. :)

Better than I expected, especially for under $10. Purply red. Right on target for a DOGC Chianti: leathery, slightly cedary red and black cherries (I'd guess there's some CabSauv in this), medium minus body, bright acid, and light brisk tannins. I especially enjoyed this for the creamy finish: that ineffable velvety, tomatoey, buttery thing I've always wanted from an Italian table wine. It's begging for spaghetti or a steak, and is also good on its own (just give it a couple hours of air to mellow out). I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.
