More restrained and playing it closer to the vest (at this point) than the BOND St. Eden.
Should also be a treat in 20+ years.

Deep ruby red and high viscosity, completely coated the glass. Restrained nose with purple floral notes, a little forest floor and a touch herbaceous. Definitely from a cooler vintage. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Layered on the palate with bark, mushrooms, peppers, and soft dark plums. Long finish. Definitely needs a couple plus hours in the decanter to burn off the green nose. Drink till 2030.

Vecina showed Voluptuousness worthy of the best years, a feminine expression of perfectly extracted dark cherry and blackberry fruit. Light toasty vanilla and a line of cedary tannins that gave this baby extraordinary length and nuance. Phenomenal now, likely to get better. Thanks to @Don Weaver, Director at Harlan/Bond, a gentleman, (wine) scholar, and incredible host.
