Edgebaston The Pepper Pot Red Blend

Meat and jam on the nose with slight hint of white pepper; light body; red raspberry, black pepper on the palate. Excellent walk-around wine before a grilled beast feast.

Sweet roasted pepper, ground white pepper, soft tannin with raspberry and blackberry. Remarkable value.

Straight out of the bottle this thing was wild. It was like one intense flavor after another. But after a half hour or so it smooths out a lot. Pitch black in color. Hints of BBQ smell. Smoke. Pretty intense tannin flavors. Dark flavors or all things red.

The Syrah takes over in the blend the other components get lost still not a horrible wine just not very compelling

Med tannin and body with hint of black pepper. Buy again at $13. Pretty decent wine for price.

For $12.99 in PA, I was impressed with the medium weight, peppery spice and red like berries. Not as fruity as some Aussie blends but perfect compliment with my filet

Berries and Pepper on the nose. Nice and dry, blackberries, a bit jammy on the tongue. Not overly complex and a nice wine on its own; but could easily be paired with a nice grilled steak if in the mood for a not-too-heavy wine. Nice finish, too; not overly tannic. I like! Love the label too, and great name for the taste!

Pepper cherry and oak notes on the nose. Acidic and has a fun pucker. Taste is nice and long finish. Better with food.

Black pepper and cherry and hints of vanilla. It has a bite of pepper and acidity with a light but lingering finish. The acidity is tamed with food.
