Found 5 btls today that were buried in a lower corner bin in the cellar. This btl did not seem as fresh as the btl I had several years ago that was richly styled, full bodied with a honeyed, orchid fruits, some mineral, menthol & wild herbs but had a touch of oxidation.

Super tight Corton Charlemagne with a menthol note, packed and coiled like a spring. Great density. Clean fine fruit. Great stuff.

Clear and mineral. Citrus, flint. Surprisingly lean for a corton Charlemagne . A bit sour on the finish... grapefruit? Not sure if this is a great bottle of this.

Dec 4th, 2017Very juicy and intense. A flinty note alongside the powerful fruit (pear?) white flowers. Still coiled. A good mix of steely and fruit. Should be pretty great with a good few years. Quite primal now.
