Bouchard Père et Fils
Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay

Very young, light and pale in colour, while smooth supple and not rich, hint of oily texture, complex, sweet notes, long finish. High quality, need time. 2017-05-06

A minty, lifted, very pure nose. Loads of zip and great definition. Powerful but light. Detailed. Very good

Concentrated and powerful. Great acidity, and a bitterness akin to citrus peel or certain hops. I detect oak in both nose and palate, but Chardonnay always throws me for a loop with regards to oak. Really glad I got to taste 2 of Burgundy's most prized sub-appellations tonight!
