Bow and Arrow
Gamay Rose
Retasting same vintage three months later. Reddish orange, excellent clarity. Some red fruit in nose, maybe cherry and floral notes. Cherry and lemon flavors, mild skin astringency, mineral finish. Mercifully dry. Sulfites blew off quickly. Pleasant to drink chilled or at room temperature. A winner. Well structured for a rose.

Oct 5th, 2018Label says Rose, Willamette Valley, 12.5% alc./vol. Website says it's a blend of Gamay and Pinot noir. Pinkish orange in color. Stone fruit and cherry notes in nose with lots of matchstick sulfur. Nice crispness in mouth with great length of cherry, bingish cherry. Fruity but dry. Crisp finish with slight skin astringency. My brother's favorite; he's on to something. Should work well with food but I'd dig it as an aperitif. Sulfur was gone 24 hours later

Jun 19th, 2018A bright, sour red fruit nose with notes of red raspberries, grapefruit and wet stone. The palate is extremely dry with rich acidity. Flavors of citrus and a hint of strawberry lead to lots lots of stone and drying tannins. The finish is medium and very dry with just a touch of red fruit.
