Well made wine. It could have a longer finish.

Dark cocoa and black cherry notes, with BEAUTIFUL acidity and balance. Tannins are so fine, and as such it is drinking beautifully now. Get your paws on Brand ASAP--it has "ten year waiting list" written all over it.

On first sip the smoothness of this wine stands out - the mouthfeel is silky and dense. Blackberry and creme de cassis liqueur dominate followed by baking spices and vanilla with just a touch of heat. Nicely integrated oak. Soft tannins. The seamless finish goes on for nearly a minute (seriously!) and there is a great acidity to this wine that just begs for fatty food.
