Much better than the “heavily plated” one which seemed too contrived to me.

Very unlike any other Islay whisky, except perhaps Bunnahaben. Light and easy in the mouth with a surprising rise of a gentle malted tang as it rests on the tongue. The finish dies away more rapidly that the more typical Isaly malts. Perhaps a good introductory experience for the newer whisky drinker.

Refreshing and enjoyable to bourbon and other whiskey drinkers. Does well with an ice ball or a drop of water to minimize heat.
