I’m fortunate to have found rare deals at charity events and I have 2000, 2002,2004 and now 2006. And the latter 2006 is the hands down winner of the lot. Crispy fresh, lemon zest with hint of brioche. It is a wow! — 14 days ago
Silky cherry with tannins nicely integrated . Showing well. Finally! — 24 days ago
The very pleasant nose did not translate to taste in the way expected of this maker. Twenty years later, I believe this wine is still evolving, requiring more patience. The old adage about Burgundy applies - you are going to kiss some frogs before they become prince. Having said that, a long decant was useful. — 5 days ago
Who am I argue with 100 point rating from Dunnuck and Wine Advocate? And it is a youthful beauty. I typically find the great vintage of ‘09 approachable earlier than ‘05, also a great Bordeaux year. This is perfectly enjoyable right now but I’ll SAVE at least 6 of these because this baby is a distant runner with lots of legs left. Wow! — 20 days ago
Dense, softened tannins are the start of a delightful full bodied blackberry led juice. Absolute magic. And it’s probably a longer runner than thought 15 years ago. Highly recommend to grab if you see it — a month ago
Twenty-five years as a stubborn tart, she has finally expressed on taste what the nose and ruby color suggested for much of her path. Pleasant 1er to enjoy for at least a decade. — 6 days ago
Great balance of fruit and acidity. Lemon zest undertones. Wonderful wine of a great vintage — 17 days ago
Perfect chill and drill Chablis. Quite nice actually.

Drinking even more beautifully than 18 months ago. Beautiful nose, big fruits, and that whole cigar leaf thing going on, with hints of chocolate. But the reward here is the generously long finish. Wow! — a month ago

A pleasant color, nose, and palate to my surprise as I know little about this wine from an auction win. Drinking wonderful straight out of the gate! — 5 days ago
