Italian. Red. Piedmontese.
Deep red color and red fruit with chocolate on the nose. Medium body. Went well with hearty tomato pasta and grated cheese but I prefer the southern and Sardinian reds. They are more fruity and bold. With the price point higher on this, I’ll pass next time. 13.5% alc by volume. If you like dolcetto, however, this is a fine choice!
