Nicer than it was almost 2 years ago, still with a 4+ hour decant. Some nice dark fruit, great acid, tannins still very there. Good pairing with some pork chops braised with mushrooms, tomatoes, and cream.

First night in the new joint. Corkscrew deep in a box somewhere. Hacked at the cork. Pushed the haggered butt end into the bottle. Poured into a water tumbler through a strainer. I regret nothing.

Musky, rose, raspberry, spray can sunscreen smell, which is actually nice and reminds me of the beach, light ruby red, acidic bite that is long and thorough but not jarring or overpowering, tannin are similar but less pronounced, ending it strawberry raspberry acidic that comes after a semi wet sand forward body
