First impression on opening: Worcestershire sauce. (Friendly version: strong nose of tamarind!). Robust tannins. Moderate acidity. Suspect Cabernet/Syrah blend given heavy currant note, some Zin plum as well. Good pairing with skillet fried pork chops and roast Brussels sprouts. A few years in the basement might let it stand better on its own.

It's also got plum and kirsch notes while the palate has tart red cherries, wood and some.. cinnamon? It's a little too hot for my liking but for less than $25 it's a damn good red blend.
