Color of light wheat tea, a bit bubbly. Nose of oak, ripe fruits like pineapple, banana, pear, and mango, a bit spicy, some roasted nuts, and a bit stingy in the nose. Nose is fruit oriented. Taste is light and zesty, with hints of tropical fruits indicates by the nose, a bit sweet, some acidity, yet almost too light. Aftertaste is also quite short with some more bittersweet note. Too light for a Chardonnay.

1 person found it helpfulAug 21st, 2020It's ok. For it to be named "buttercream", I expected more butter and more cream. I admit I like a buttery chardonnay and I've had a lot that were more butter forward. This doesn't hit me with a strong alcohol taste (like two vines does) but it's not especially complex. I've had better. Disappointed given the description. (Bought at total wine)

Sep 16th, 2020Smooth with a pronounced oak finish. Full body for a Chardonnay which makes it seem like it would be better with cheeses or hors d’oveures as opposed to a heavy meal. Nice light yellow color.
