Very dark red color and viscous swirl; raisinated dark fruits, plums and cherries on the nose along with pine cones, rubber, and high oak flavors; sweet dried fruit, high alcohol and acid dominates the taste, the finish lingers for quite some time. Standard good amarone that worked wonders for the bland pasta bolognese I cooked.
