Apple Barn Vineyard Pinot Noir

Enjoying this bottle from Cakebread. A wonderful pairing with my beef bourguignon dinner.

First anniversary wine

A little more complex than the Carneros, but needs more time in the bottle. Spicy finish, but it doesn't linger.

2012 Apple Barn Vineyard Pinot. Blackberry and black currant on the nose. A bit stinky (not a complaint), with restraint and a nice subtle spicy finish.

Easy to drink; doesn't need food

Little barn vineyard not two creeks but Merry Xmas all!

Nice nose of vanilla berry. Palette has striking cherry, red berries, and plums in this fruit forward Pinot. Hint of black pepper and spice. Does a nice job of show casing the vintage. Very nice polished finish.
