New Year’s Eve 12/31/24 delicious — 3 months ago
Blend of mostly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits and cedar herb spice, 17 months in 44% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry, blueberry and plum with vanilla spice, espresso, leather and cedar herb notes. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, toasty earthy mineral layered with sweet spicy character. Nice! — 8 months ago
Pale straw in the glass. Ripe peach, pineapple, pear, and blossom, with hints of vanilla, lychee, and honeysuckle. On the palate—banana, apple, and a touch of cream, lifted by medium-plus acidity. I’m not usually a fan of Napa Chard, but this one is elegant and balanced, with well-integrated oak. — 3 months ago

Very fruity and delicious! — 3 months ago
Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit, forest floor notes and sweet spices. On the palate ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, tea, toasty vanilla oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this wine to a long finish. Good now! — a year ago

Procured via auction. Have had bad bottles before but cork looked solid (used Durand to take no chances).
This bottle was excellent and the wine developed nicely in the glass over about 1.5 hours. Kept in my ETO.
Nice black and dark fruits with a little muscle. Oak integrated and not overpowering.
Lovely pairing with steak. — 10 days ago
