Twomey's 25th anniversary RRV Pinot. Expressive florals both on taste and nose. Red cherry opener and I get a bit of smoke and dusty soil. Medium mouthfeel and mild tannins. The wine is well-balanced and quite expressive through the finish. — 2 months ago
Darker than most Pinots in the glass. Love the dense cherry opener. Raspberries and blackberries mid with a strong cola finish and just a bit of spice . Not the dusty earth you find in Oregon, but this will drink well all night. I've always been a fan of RRV Pinots done right. This delivers. — 3 months ago
A very fruit forward red blend. In a good way. It's basically a 50-50 Cabernet Sauvignon-Syrah blend with a drip of Petite Syrah and Petit Verdot. Loads of black berries, blueberries and a full mouthfeel. Tannins could be a little more subtle. — a month ago
Full mouthfeel Merlot blend. Opens to Luxardo cherry, chocolates, raspberry, plum, a bit of leather and subtle florals. Finishes with soft tannins and has some length. — a month ago
Very inexpensive Cab. Medium-bodied with decent tannins and some acidity. Light on the fruits with black cherry, cocoa and a floral nose. Very drinkable for a very low price point. — 2 months ago
Very drinkable Rose. A bit of citrus, a bit of berries. Perfect summer pool or patio pounder. Found this at the Joel des Commerçants for about $13. — 3 months ago
Needed a long decant to show its color. Love that brownish almost orange hue in the glass. Leads with sour cherry. Raspberry and cocoa with a decent finish. Very young but I don't think this would be a killer in 10 yrs. Drink it now but give it a decant. — a month ago
Young but a very cool Syrah. There's a subtle note of clove and peppercorn which makes this a very unique drinking wine. Love the savoriness of the wine. Black and red berries on the nose. Great balance. Complex finish. — a month ago
Vanilla and lemon peel dominate this Chardonnay. Nice drinkable crispy white from Santa Ynez. It's a Dave Phinney wine true to form. — 3 months ago

Might have let this one get past its peak. Still has some fruit but little life left. Red berries, raspberries, plums and some flint. Still has some oakiness. Tannins have definitely softened and very drinkable but its time has passed. — 13 days ago
