de Villiers Vineyard Pinot Noir

Nice fruit that's juicy but not overripe. 14.9% alcohol but not hot at all. Lots of oak on the nose and palate. I would give it a few more years to let it integrate.

Full body...lots of nice fruit with a nice finish!

First time I tried this vineyard

I think this one is starting to hit its stride. much more balanced than I remember it as a younger wine.

2011 Calera's are killing right now. This was fresh with sweet red fruit and a touch green. Glad I have in mag format as well!

Prunes, cherry, slight vanilla and licorice on the nose. A fullness in the mouth with a long and slightly hot finish. This is great right now!

Think it needs more time in bottle but going in a good direction w bright red fruits, savory herb and tea notes. Good structure with quite a bit of tannin. On the bigger side.. (Tasted at EBS)
