Calera Wine Company
de Villiers Vineyard Pinot Noir
Nice fruit that's juicy but not overripe. 14.9% alcohol but not hot at all. Lots of oak on the nose and palate. I would give it a few more years to let it integrate.

Oct 22nd, 2014I think this one is starting to hit its stride. much more balanced than I remember it as a younger wine.

Nov 7th, 2017Prunes, cherry, slight vanilla and licorice on the nose. A fullness in the mouth with a long and slightly hot finish. This is great right now!

Nov 20th, 2016Think it needs more time in bottle but going in a good direction w bright red fruits, savory herb and tea notes. Good structure with quite a bit of tannin. On the bigger side.. (Tasted at EBS)
