Tasted blind. Dark tawny color, translucent. High-pitched nose with a cherry cola feel. Notes of sweet strawberries and red fruit. Impactful in the mouth. Has a bit of heat, but not overly so. Some complexity has developed. Some funk too. Debate is if this is old or new world. I recall tasting old Calera pinots that are like this and guess early 90's Calera. Good stuff!

Feb 18th, 2023Barely opaque, tawny with reddish amber rims. Sweet fruit nose. Notes of raspberry and strawberry rhubarb pie. Some stem notes. Great fruit, structure and balance in the mouth. Rich. After several hours this was powering along. Great old CA pinot!

Again nail polish Kalin cellars out the gate but recovered and bloomed just like the Mills Jeff Jensen did it again, little darker fruit both beauties and will stand by these wine like a marine
