Smooth as hell- great mixed with flavored seltzer.

Shades of purple, quite clear. Nose of oak, vanilla, strength of alcohol, plum, and mixed dark fruits. Taste of plentiful acidity, oak and vanilla, plum, a bit peppery, and quite bittersweet zest. Aftertaste is some more rustic metallic note. Too sour and too much bitter for me.

STWC (Tasted with the The Society’s southern Spanish red). Dusty velvety fruit aroma majoring in blackberries. Sharp peppery red fruit taste with smooth tannins. I like this Jumilla Monastrell a little more than the Soc’s version but probably not enough to pay the extra for every day.

Very smooth, strong wine and so easy to drink that it’ll sneak up on you.
