The nose, with black currant, raspberry and hint of vanilla, quite subdued even after 90 minutes. The palate shows much better with ripe candied plum and blackberry that does not feel raisiny, scented with herbs and smoke. Medium to full body with silky texture. Tart acidity. Soft yet chewy tannins.
