Not a lot of people are risky enough to mess with anything but the standards in Lange. You know, Nebiollo and Barbera... but I always wondered what they could do with something different... Here is the answer; super vivid intense fruit, with a slight bit of orange peel and high acid cherries. Really cool wine, I recommend it for not only the novelty but the taste. Now, they should start doing some syrah in this area and I will be really excited!
