Really enjoyed this wine, second from this producer (1st was Primitivo) and both were consistently well made: dark, inky, opaque, thick rich with fairly dense black/blue fruit sort of raisiny dusted with some dirt, lil loamy, herby, and fat in mid-palate. Tannins were even keeled and finish a little abrupt and lacking just a tad of acidity to allow for the flavors to carry thru the finish.
