Just what I was hoping for. Aromatic, dry and peachy.

Grabbed this bottle at the local store because of happy memories drinking Salina Bianca with incredible meals and incredible company (my now fiancée) on the Aeolian Islands a little over a year ago.
It’s crisp, with a nose of hot rocks and aromatic muscadine, honeysuckle and greengage plums. Palate is rounder than expected, though still dry. A little more acid would be ideal, but with a chill and the right food, this is a happy summertime treat.

Love the minerality and clean crisp taste. Not too acidic.

A repeat purchase — this wine is an exceptional value, offering a ton of complexity for under $20. I had to research a bit to find that Malvasia is the grape, and Salina is the tiny Italian Island off Sicily it comes from. This wine tastes like salty ocean and makes you imagine being there. A favorite. (Purchased and repurchased many times at Amaro Spirits & Wine in Park Slope, Brooklyn.)
