Jumilla Monastrell

Deep Ruby with aromas of fresh blue and black fruits, spice and sweet oak, aged for about 12 months in oak. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with herb pepper spice and toasty notes. Fine rustic tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cacao and sweet spice.

First glass need time to breathe but pleasantly earthy. 2 hours decanting mellow the earthy tones out and bring the fruit up a little.

So good. Paired it with pizza. Cold cold night here in Nashville.

I previously tried the 2016. This one is a winner for me too. Hint of leather and oak, dark fruit. Solid for the price.
