Drank with dad’s chili at Camp night before Thanksgiving ‘18. Stands up well to chili and jalapeños. Impressive. Good mouthfeel, spice, spiced fruit (although may be due to peppers). Medium-length big finish. Good tannins.

Big but approachable. Black cherry, blackberry with a bit of oak, but it is restrained and well integrated. Not the most complex wine in the word, but well done. Would be great with steak.
