Needed a wine tonight to stand up to the bold flavors of a spanish marinated chicken with gondolas & cauliflower rice. This wine worked showing its rich, balanced dark fruits with notes of earth, leather, spice & tobacco

Bold wine! Very good representation of what a good Douro wine should be!

Quinta da Leda 2009 from Casa Ferreirinha

Bright red clear. Sweet red cherries on the nose no burn.
Med light body good acidity smooth silky tannins. Nice finish. Makes you want more.
