W. & J. Graham's

Vintage Port Blend 1997

Ruby core, tawny hints in the rim.
Dried cherries, plums and dates, milk chocolate, brownspices, christmascake.
This is a nice, warm, mature Vintage Port, just a pinch too alcoholic on the finish.

Cork pulled out cleanly with ah so. Pours delicate cherry color. Not complex but delightful drinking. — 2 months ago

Quinta da Fonte Bela

Paxis Red Blend 2020

The Sangiovese was out so we landed on this one. No regrets. Smells a bit astringent but with lots of vanilla and strawberry. Very fruity, medium bodied. A solid wine, especially for $18 at a restaurant. — 2 months ago
