This 2016 prides itself on the tannins. I used a decanter to smooth them out a bit. The aroma is not very strong. The flavor didn’t hit instantly and develops over a short time. It’s dry and soft. I taste grapes and cherry mix. James Suckling rated it 91 points. I don’t see it. It’s pretty good but not great.
