Clos Sénéchal Bourgueil Cabernet Franc

Textbook Bourgueil. Pure, pyraziney, earthy with a beautifully light and refreshing texture. Tried again 10/22 and was pure and lovely.

Drinking this while watching the U.S. boys vs. Portugal.

In the zone right now. Balanced between Pyrazine-Town and and Cherry-Earth Lake.

Cassoulet fodder with a bright and light personality. Very aromatic but still bracing. An element of red wine razor blade.

Dark, ripe raspberry with pomegranate, dash of celery, leather, evenly wrapped around a fistful of tannins. Perhaps a Cab. Franc for marbled steaks. Out of interest I will let the second bottle sit for 5 more years at the very least. I enjoy this producer.

Actually deserves a ZERO.

Completely rancid bottle of 2010. What a disappointment.

Blackberries, blueberries, slate, mushrooms, game, barnyard. Excellent acidity and perfect velvet tannin structure counters juicy mouthfeel.
