Once again, on the phone with my local retailer purchasing the last available bottle...on my First Glass! Perfect capturing of the grapes. Absolutely impeccable tension, acidity, tastes like whole clusters, ultra fresh and all the classic beauty and richness of the best bourgueil. Cannot recommend this more highly if you come across it...I can imagine no matter what the age these will be the bomb forever! πŸ’£ not to mention so cheap for the substance here.

Crystalline and mineral. Just a touch of that Loire blood, beet and green pepper thing with a moderate bit of cherry fruit that could be a bit riper and more prominent. With this particular bottle, I don’t get anything more complex from the FdP. Ample acidity and dusty tannins. Probably has room to age, but whether it will reward it remains to be seen.

Smoked paprika and light game on the nose to accompany cherry, white pepper and a touch of tomato leaf. Good mix of fruit and herbs and, as such, classic Loire Cab Franc. Elegant texture and full mouthfeel but light body. Ungrafted vines

Love this series of terroir specific Cab Francs and this one is amazing. Dusty and brambly with tannin unmistakable for the varietal.

Nice blueberry and 'blue jam' notes in the flavour. Delicious red clay earth in the nose once it opens. Leather. Nice tannins and mouthfeel.
