Les Perrières Bourgueil Cabernet Franc

Green and black pepper with cool, supple fruit. Lovely secondary notes and herbal elements. Aged really nicely. Excellent.

The easy winner of a night full of stellar wines. This was amazing.

Not as explosively beautiful as the 89. But quintessential Loire Cab Franc. Might end up being longer-lived. Just youthful, green pepper, tart cherry with dusty tannins. I've become a huge fan of these Perrieres.

Fruit shining through. Much less green than ‘88 counterpart

Can't believe I got the opportunity to try this. Bootstraps, venison, mushrooms, aromatic and long. What a treat
