A fun bottle to try. On pop, it was closed and disjointed with a tart finish and I figured was a bad bottle. 5 hours later, it has exceptional fruit notes which fall on the red to bramble range. Maybe a little dark cherry too. Some leather and softened tannins fill in where the fruit leaves off with enough balance to feel refreshing at the end. Hints of baking spices, dill, cedar and cocoa are sprinkled in.

Awesome experience a 1991 Caymus Special Selection. Upon opening showing good fruit in the nose. Tannins have dissipated. Thought it might be over the hill? No Way! Tried with WW staff. A gift from Dr Bill! You know who you are. Great 25 yr old bottle of Cab! Big Wow!

Beautiful older Cabernet purchased on release that is drinking younger than its 27 yrs with almost no bricking. Showing classic red berry fruits that is elegant, silky & floral with sweet red berry, cherry fruit, leather, licorice, dusty tannins & rose petal.
