Black Slate La Vilella Alta Vi de la Vila Priorat Garnacha Blend

Priorat- nuff said. Spain's mountain goat! rich fruit, pepper and granite dust. Very unique and smooth.

Wondefully fruit forward for an old world wine. The Grenache and Carignan come on strong and the can seems to linger in the back end. Dark fruit dominant, with a wonderful baking spice note.

For $8 it fine.

Nice priorat. Ink black. not terriibly impressive on the nose. Good structure with vein of sharp raspberry right down the middle of the palate. Lovely and very food friendly. A go to everyday wine.
