Estate Selection Lujan De Cuyo Malbec

This wine is improving with bottle age and is drinking beautifully now (Feb 2014). Better than even a few months ago. Rich red and black fruits, nice mouthfeel and a smooth finish. Very tasty.

The Kysela rep was very stingy in his pouring, so hard to give a full assessment. Generally inky and balanced.

Designer wine. It was good but not at $29.99

It's Friday and enjoying a nice Malbec with close friends in "The Big Apple"! Good dark fruit on the light side. Some earthy notes and smooth silky tannins.

Intensely fruity with a bit of a tannic bite still left. Lots of red fruit and Violet's on the nose with a nice smooth finish. Great value.

That's when I realise this wine is not Chaka Khan. What it is, though, is a fantastic Argie red.

Vanilla, berries, nubile tannins with a crisp finish... Likely the best bottle I've had from South America.

I like the nose and color. Goes with just about everything Nice pepper not too earthy
