Sep 17th, 2022Nose of black pepper, blackberry, moist leaf and pine needles. Tannins are fading, but still present. Acidity is still punchy. Pint needles really carry forward in the palate, followed by crack black pepper and black fruit. Best on 2nd day.

May 4th, 2016Decent Malbec blend from Mendoza. Paired well with some grass fed beef. Not much on the nose. The plate starts off with some good blue and red berry flavors, but falls off relatively quickly. Decent grip. Worth the $25 retail cost, not the $90 restaurant price.

Feb 17th, 2016Really excellent blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Some spice and complexity that increase over 24 hours after opening the 2013 vintage. Best with hearty food and cheese.
