Woah! Intense blueberry and currant on the nose with just a hit of woody vanilla. On first sip, I got some notes like orange oil, and honeydew. Mid pallet is all spice: coriander and white pepper. The tactile is juicy and coating. Finishes with some floral tobacco, and a drying that reminds me of pomegranate juice.

We drank this @chappellet_wine over several hours and enjoyed how the nose and flavor evolved, so elegant and complex. Well integrated flavors of several layers. Glad we have more!

Black fruit, good balance of oak and fruit. Licorice, leather, earthy notes as well. Acid somewhat low tannins medium. Great with my peanut chicken dish
