Chappellet wine dinner. I've not had much of their wines and wanted to see if they are worth a visit when we are out for our yearly Napa trip in February!
This is a wine that I would say not only does it taste good, but it tastes like it should. Beautiful Merlot. Got some spice and cigar box on the lingering finish, but the palate was a great harmony of the fruit spectrum...raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, blackberries.

Smooth and delicious, hints of chocolate. We needed a larger bottle, it went too fast.

I'm not a big Merlot fan, but wow, this is pretty damn good. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, given it's from Chappellet.
