Needed a minimum 2 hour decanter and even then just kept getting better. Really pleasant scent and strong power in fruit and tannin evident (2012 vintage tasted in 2020). Full rich lingering flavours with a little alcohol heat on back palate

Old vine Barossa Shriraz Rhone blend, with a name poking some fun at its Old World Heritage. I love these GSM blends, typically this is pronounced, ripe - black cherry, strawberry/raspberry with violets, vanilla and toast, mushroom and forest floor developing notes. Long finish, full body and high alcohol. Outstanding
