Colour is as black as night with a crimson rim. A little reduction stink on the nose with earthy burnt cinders. On the palate intense red and black fruits of raspberry, mulberry and black plum. A wine from a warm climate in Cotes du Rouissillon. With time more sweet raspberry fruit on the palate. Mainly Syrah with some Grenache and Mourvèdre. Carries its 15.5% ABV with ease.

I would love to retaste these Charles Perez Bergerie wines. They pack a serious punch of blood, bacon fat, olive, and red fruit.
