Delicious syrupy-berry scent, not super full bodied. Sweet at first, then tannin-y at the end in the back of the tongue and throat. Pretty clean finish, though the tanning leaves a but of heat in the back of the throat. Had with leftover ragu, not a great pairing, but does not detract.

Terrific wine. Lots of minerals on the mid palate. Not too fruity Great nose. . A beauty. I know others didn't rate this as high as I did. Have to disagree. Thanks again Mr rimmerman
