1961 holding beautifully

Amazeballs! Half btl. Base neck. True '61 character still present. Needed 1hr to fully blossom. About twice the color of the Lafite 70 and 3x the complexity. A testament to great storage. Only one owner. (cellar inspection for upcoming online auction)

A great surprise. Drinking beautifully now and definitely at its peak with at least a decade left at this level. No reason to wait.

Ridiculous how well this held up.

1961. Punchy chinese medicine aroma at beginning than turns numb. Slightly tart at the end and brings up the solid body after 4 hrs. Tannin is there. Drink.
