Château Cambon
Beaujolais Gamay

Subtly sexy. Carbonic texture, a hint of olive tapenade salinity, and juicy Beaujy stewed black fruit and spice

A little too much Brett for me. Some of it blows off if you decant for a half hour or so. And I thought it actually improved after a day or two open in the fridge. It’s too bad, because I could tell there was some really nice fruit buried in there. People who like a little Brett might want to disregard my slightly low score, as it wasn’t excessive to the point that I’d call it a flaw, so you might love this one.

Jan 5th, 2022Started to get juicy after some air, but some off-beat funk didn’t blow off.

Yer ma drinks this (obvi b/c yer ma values deeply wines of unspeakable balance, the poise of a promise in the year of election, & weatherbeaten/Aragorn-rugged claims to the throne.
Hint of the lambic, touch of the forest. Fit for kings, wicked & brave alike.) #yermadrinksthis
