This is so lush and yummy. I’d like a touch more acid but it’s still a baby so could be hiding in all that jammy fruit.

2009 Claret tasting with tasting group. My 1st, group 1st. Unity. Floral, complex fruit in the aromas, rich, ripe, complex flavors. Tension between richness and leaness.

Easy to drink. A crowd pleaser.

Needs a decade.

Just as good as last time. Rich but cleanly structured. Love it.

The wine of the tasting for me. Opulent, complex and nicely structured. Sensational.
