For a Haut Medoc grand cru I was delighted to drink this 35 year old gem. Smokey cedar nose and rich tobacco cassis flavors with delicate tannins this wine has enormous fruit and lasting power.

Beautiful red with amber tones on the edge. Claret nose with beefy aroma- rich mouth feel and resolved tannins. For a lower growth the wine shows the quality of the vintage - very nice wine still has more years of life.

Great nose of candied cherries and tobacco. Good balance of raspberries, pepper and herb palate combined with a soft tannic backbone.
