This wine continued to evolve in the glass, so take time to enjoy it. I got everything from sour wild cherries and dried red currant, to wet concrete and loamy earth. It was all over the place, or maybe that was me. I expected a lot more earthiness or some good "stinkiness " but there wasn't any here. It still had some very noticeable tannins and decent acid. We could have even held on to it for a few more years. It was great with the potato gratin full of thyme and pepper.
