Solid well made wine. Big tick for drinkability. Red fruits, balanced acidity. Good wine for the price

Mocha currant and earth on the nose. Very came sac like. The palate is very well balanced with currant and perhaps other Forrest berries and a good acid backbone. Gentle tannins kick up things a bit before a satisfying finish with fruit and freshness.

Gamey, smokey nose with a pinch of pepper and black currant. There are more secondary flavours than primary for now on the nose. Fruits make a comeback after a while and while agitating the glass. The palate is quite concentrated with blackberry and black currant for the fruit part, lively tannins and a bitter ending with a trace of chocolate that is very pretty. Nicely done. The acid backbone is there to support the palate and create balance. Not as good as the 2005 and 2010 I had the opportunity to taste but not far from them. Good wine.

Not as acidic as some comments suggested in earlier tastings. It may just be that it needed another year to get its legs. Not a lot of power, admittedly, but it went nicely with Argentinian beef. Berries of various ilk are there, so was enjoyable
