A deep ruby colored wine with light sediment. On the nose you will find moderate aromas of red fruits, vanilla, oak, spice, and smoke. This wine is dry with medium plus acid, medium tannins, fuller bodied, with similar flavors to its aromas.

French Malbec is a completely different beast than its Argentinian relative. Inky dark and powerful. Nose of herbs, topsoil, with some Olive tones and subtle dark fruits. Oaky on the nose as well, that is not very well integrated. Earthy on the palate. The tannins are gripping and assertive hiding any complexity, and needs time to settle down and integrate. The finish is short, which is typical for the varietal.
